About the role

SolStak is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead sovereign ICT delivery for Defence and government programmes. You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage stakeholder expectations and keep complex programmes on track in accredited environments.

What you’ll do

  • Plan, execute and close ICT projects across cloud, data, platform and integration workstreams
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk and quality for mission-critical programmes
  • Facilitate agile and gated delivery models suited to government procurement
  • Engage stakeholders, vendors and internal engineering teams with clarity and accountability
  • Report progress, issues and outcomes to client and SolStak leadership

What we’re looking for

  • Demonstrated ICT project management in Defence, government or regulated industries
  • PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent delivery methodology experience
  • Strong stakeholder communication, risk management and team leadership skills
  • Comfort working alongside technical teams on cloud, data and security programmes
  • Australian citizenship
  • Minimum two years of proven experience in a relevant role
  • Own GitLab instance and home lab environment (highly desirable)
  • Existing Australian Government security clearance (highly desirable)
  • Industry certifications (highly desirable)
